Paramount Group – 1301 Avenue of the Americas

New York, NY

American Christmas partnered with Paramount Group, a leading fully-integrated real estate investment trust, to deliver a refined and visually stunning holiday décor installation at 1301 Avenue of the Americas in Midtown Manhattan. This seasonal transformation was designed to reflect the elegance and quality Paramount Group brings to the properties it owns, operates, and manages.

When Sculptures Meet Sparkle

The installation featured custom Christmas decorations across the building’s exterior fountains, awning, main lobby, and elevator banks. A unique challenge was designing décor that complemented Jim Dine’s “Looking Toward the Avenue” sculptures, which have graced the property since 1989. These Venus de Milo-inspired statues required a thoughtful and artistic approach to ensure the holiday elements enhanced their presence without overpowering them.

Tailored Design from Façade to Lobby

To maintain brand consistency, American Christmas crafted custom greenery in Paramount Group’s signature navy color, creating a cohesive visual experience from exterior to interior. The installation included two 14-foot Christmas trees, four 6-foot wreaths, two 12-foot trees placed inside the exterior fountains, and over 500 feet of garland adorning the building’s façade. Altogether, the display featured an impressive 252,398 individual lights, illuminating the space with festive brilliance.

The entire project was completed in approximately 10 hours by a crew of 15 professional holiday installers, showcasing American Christmas’s expertise in executing large-scale, high-impact décor with precision and artistry. This installation stands out for its blend of architectural sensitivity, brand alignment, and seasonal spectacle — a true celebration of holiday design at one of New York City’s premier commercial addresses.
