Four Seasons Hotel New York

New York, NY

A Grand Return

After five years of closure, the iconic Four Seasons Hotel New York reopened in 2024, and we were honored to help mark the occasion with timeless holiday elegance. Our client wanted to return to a classic holiday aesthetic—warm, traditional Christmas décor that would welcome guests the moment they entered the lobby.

Creating Magic in a Challenging Space

The centerpiece of the design was a 24-foot Christmas tree placed in the raised lobby area. Due to the architecture, bringing in a lift wasn’t possible, so our team worked within those constraints to install the tallest tree that could be safely placed in the space. This limitation required careful planning, creative rigging solutions, and a skilled installation team to achieve the grand look without compromising safety.

The décor extended beyond the tree, with close to 100 feet of garland and numerous wreaths and smaller trees tastefully placed throughout the property. Each year, the program evolves, adding new touches while keeping the timeless theme intact.

The Overnight Transformation

What makes this project so special is not only the prestige of decorating an iconic New York hotel, but also the emotional impact. Guests waking up on Thanksgiving morning or arriving that day are greeted by a fully transformed, beautifully lit lobby. Our dedicated team works for about 10 hours straight the night before Thanksgiving to make sure every single detail is perfect for that holiday morning reveal.
